About Us

Charlene A. Cabral is the founder of Cabral Insurance Consulting & Training. She started in the insurance industry in 1986 while she was in high school. Upon graduation, from Bryant College, Smithfield, R.I., in 1994, she received her Bachelor's degree in Accounting. While working on her accounting degree, Charlene was working full time in a Rhode Island Insurance Agency and obtained her insurance license, as well as the following designations: AAI (Accredited Advisor in Insurance), AIC (Associates in Claims), LIA (Licensed Insurance Advisor). She has also completed 4 parts to the CPCU (Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriting) designation.

In 1996 Charlene left that agency and went on to develop her management and Commercial Lines experience with an agency in Needham, Mass. After that agency changed ownership in 1999, Charlene took a position as an Office Manager/Managing Account Executive with a North Attleboro Insurance Agent. Charlene is still affiliated with this agency and is working on growing her consulting business. Her passion is to help educate and protect people from loss.
